Leadership
Alex is the Principal AI Consultant, specializing in harnessing the transformative power of AI and analytics. With over two decades of experience spanning business and technology, Alex has worked across a variety of industries, including engineering, retail, telecommunications, logistics, manufacturing, financial services, and software.
One of Alex’s most notable achievements includes being granted a patent in AI vision while serving as the technology lead for the retail, consumer and packaged goods industries at Salesforce. This innovation significantly improved the efficiency and accuracy of training vision-based AI models by utilizing video, reducing training dataset collation time from eight hours to just 15 seconds while enhancing prediction quality.
Alex has played a key role in early Australian generative AI projects; he helped a major telco and a national grocer successfully launch their first generative AI use cases, in addition to supporting other well known Australian brands across financial services, construction, energy and resources.
As a thought leader in AI and modern analytics, Alex is dedicated to sharing insights and practical knowledge, making complex topics accessible to a broad audience.
