    About the Role

    We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Project Lead to join the team at Hypergen, Australia’s next-generation AI consulting company.

    In this role, you’ll work directly with customers to understand their needs, define requirements, and design clear, actionable specifications for applications and intelligent workflows. You’ll sit at the intersection of technology and business — helping turn ideas and problems into practical AI-driven solutions that deliver measurable value.

    This role is ideal for someone who loves working with customers, asking great questions, and translating business needs into well-structured, deliverable outcomes. You’ll lead engagements from discovery through delivery, working alongside developers, data specialists, and automation experts to bring those solutions to life.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Working directly with customers to capture requirements and define solution scope for AI, workflow automation, and application projects

    • Translating business goals into detailed functional and technical specifications

    • Leading customer workshops and discovery sessions with a clear, confident, and professional presence

    • Collaborating closely with developers and solution architects to ensure requirements are fully understood and implemented effectively

    • Managing small projects or workstreams, ensuring delivery is on time and aligned with customer expectations

    • Supporting the preparation of proposals, estimates, and customer documentation

    • Contributing to Hypergen’s internal knowledge base and helping evolve our delivery frameworks

    What We’re Looking For

    • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Consultant, or similar customer-facing role

    • Strong background in business applications or workflow design — ideally in CRM, Power Platform, or similar environments

    • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, especially with non-technical stakeholders

    • Demonstrated ability to build specifications, process maps, and documentation that guide successful delivery

    • Experience leading or coordinating delivery teams and managing customer relationships

    • Understanding of project delivery lifecycles (Agile or hybrid methodologies)

    • Comfort working across industries and adapting quickly to new business domains

    • A genuine interest in AI, automation, and digital transformation

    • Certifications in relevant technologies (Microsoft, Salesforce, etc.) are a plus

    About the Role

    We’re looking for a Senior Software Developer to join Hypergen, one of Australia’s most forward-thinking AI consulting companies. You’ll be a key part of our technical delivery team, building modern, scalable, and intelligent applications that power automation, analytics, and AI-driven workflows for our customers.

    This role is hands-on and leadership-oriented. You’ll take technical ownership of projects, mentor junior developers, and work closely with architects, business analysts, and AI specialists to design and deliver high-quality software that makes a real impact.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Designing and developing applications using Python (FastAPI) and/or Node.js (Express) with React front-ends

    • Building secure, scalable APIs and well-structured front-end components

    • Implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Docker-based deployments

    • Integrating to voice, vision and generative AI models via API calls

    • Managing source control effectively (Git/GitHub), including branching, pull requests, and code reviews

    • Integrating and extending low-code platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform and n8n where appropriate

    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer solutions, from concept to production

    • Leading technical design discussions and contributing to architectural decisions

    • Coaching and mentoring junior developers, helping build their skills and confidence

    • Contributing to internal frameworks and best practices that improve how we deliver software

    • Ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability across the software stack

    What We’re Looking For

    • 5+ years of professional experience in software development

    • Strong hands-on experience with Python/FastAPI and/or Node.js/Express

    • Proven front-end experience with React (and modern tooling such as Vite, Redux, or Next.js)

    • Solid understanding of Docker, containerization, and DevOps principles

    • Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar)

    • Strong knowledge of source control and modern software delivery workflows

    • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with databases (SQL/NoSQL)

    • Experience integrating with low-code platforms such as Power Platform or n8n

    • Understanding of cloud environments, ideally Microsoft Azure

    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers and internal stakeholders

    • A desire to coach others, lead by example, and grow into an architect-level role

    • Required Certifications:

      • Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)

      • Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204)

      • Preferred (or in progress): Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Developing applications using Python (FastAPI) and/or Node.js (Express) with React front-ends

    • Building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with cloud services

    • Integrating with vision, voice and generative AI models via API calls

    • Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
