Our Values

1
Humbly Opinionated

Our customers engage us for a point of view, and we always bring one. We stay humble because the technology moves fast, and we make sure our guidance reflects the latest thinking.

2
Earned Trust

Our aim is to make every customer glad they chose us. Most of our business comes from referral, and we see that as the best measure of whether we are getting it right.

3
We Inspire

We see real opportunity for organisations to work better with AI. We want to help your team learn to use it productively, so the value extends well beyond what we deliver together.

4
Real Progress

There is a lot of talk in AI. We focus on outcomes. When we commit to something, we follow through and make sure you see tangible results.

5
Strategy to Execution

We are trainers, builders, and strategists. We can recommend a path forward and implement it, so nothing gets lost between the plan and the outcome.

6
Good Humans, Great Things

We care deeply about the people we work with, doing right with AI, and the impact we make.

Leadership

Alex Papli, Managing Director at Hypergen

Alex Papli, Managing Director

With 25 years of experience in technology, Alex has worked across engineering, retail, telecommunications, logistics, manufacturing, financial services, and software.

He spent nearly five years at Microsoft as the Data and AI lead for several enterprise customers in Australia, and helped a major telco and a national grocer successfully launch their first generative AI use cases in production in 2023.

At Salesforce in 2020, Alex invented a patented approach to vision-based AI that used video to speed up training for object detection models, reducing dataset preparation from eight hours to 15 seconds.

Alex founded Hypergen in January 2025 to help organisations of all sizes access the same level of AI expertise that was previously only available to enterprise customers. See our project portfolio for examples of the work we deliver.

Beyond work, Alex embraces a low-carbon lifestyle, growing fruits and vegetables and supporting local footy and tennis clubs in Barwon Heads.
