We offer Copilot training in two tracks
Take one or both, depending on what suits your team. Each track is a convenient half-day so people lose minimal time away from work. This page covers Microsoft 365 Copilot; we also offer Copilot Cowork training.
Help your team think AI-first with Microsoft 365 Copilot
Most Copilot training stops at prompting. Ours goes further.
Certification
Every participant receives a Hypergen certificate of completion, along with a shareable LinkedIn credential to verify their attendance and achievement.
We focus every participant on the things that maximise their own productivity: the prebuilt Copilot agents in Word, Excel, Analyst and Researcher, and the practice of building their own custom agents for tasks they do every week.
Participants work directly on their own computers, using business-oriented examples designed so you walk away with skills you can start applying immediately.
Across six hands-on modules, from mastering the fundamentals through to building custom agents and adopting AI-first thinking, this programme is designed to shift how each person approaches their work, with knock-on benefits across the wider team as people share what they build.
For most organisations, the challenge is not getting people to use Copilot, it is helping them think AI-first. That means recognising where Copilot can take work off your plate today, building agents that solve problems you actually face, and sharing those wins with colleagues so what one person figures out keeps paying off.

Why In-Person Training Works
There is excellent online training available, and we encourage people to explore those resources, particularly Microsoft Learn. The challenge is that self-paced modules compete with daily workload, and completion rates reflect that.
This half-day session cuts through. Your team gets direct access to a facilitator who builds AI agents for organisations every day, answering questions in real-time and demonstrating what Copilot can do in a genuine business context. We deliver every session in person, with no Teams and no recordings, because the hands-on format produces materially better learning outcomes.
Who This Training Is For
This programme is designed for beginners and experienced Copilot users alike. The fundamentals are easy to pick up, and because the training stays practical and business-focused throughout, participants comfortably progress to advanced use cases within the same session.
Many organisations find that prompt engineering, writing better instructions for AI, is a useful starting point but only part of the picture. Our programme goes further into context engineering: structuring information for reuse, building agent configurations that scale across teams, and developing an AI-first mindset where your people instinctively look for opportunities to apply AI to their work.

What You'll Cover
Copilot Fundamentals
Working directly on your own computer, you will get hands-on with how Copilot operates inside your Microsoft 365 environment. We cover navigation, quick tips for immediate productivity gains, and how your data stays private and secure with compliance built in. You will work through business-oriented examples so you leave with techniques you can apply straight away.
Copilot Notebooks
In this hands-on module, you will use Copilot Notebooks on your own device to collect information and research topics in depth. Notebooks let you bring together multiple sources, explore a subject area, and build a body of knowledge you can draw on across your work. You will walk through practical exercises using real business scenarios.
Prebuilt Copilot Agents
Microsoft has shipped a strong line-up of prebuilt Copilot agents that take whole categories of work off your plate. Working hands-on with your own computer, you will use:
- The Word agent to draft, edit, and reshape documents directly inside Word.
- The Excel agent to build, analyse, and reshape spreadsheets without writing formulas yourself.
- The Analyst to merge data across multiple files and surface the insights that matter.
- The Researcher to investigate topics, synthesise findings, and produce briefs grounded in your work data.
Each exercise uses business-oriented examples you can start applying immediately.
Build Your Own Agent
Continuing the hands-on format, every participant builds their own Copilot agent during the session, focused on a task they actually do each week. You will learn the process from start to finish, then how to share that agent with colleagues who do similar work, so the time you save compounds across the team.
Copilot Cowork
In this module, you will get hands-on with Copilot Cowork, Microsoft's latest collaborative AI experience. Working together with Copilot in real time, you will tackle advanced document generation exercises designed to show the full potential of the technology. This is where participants start to see just how much Copilot can do when you move beyond basic prompting.
AI-First Thinking
We wrap up by applying a practical lens to everything you have learned. This module is about turning today's training into action: how to start moving your organisation towards agentic AI, what steps to take now, and how to build momentum. You will leave with a clear view of where to focus first.
How We Set You Up for Success
Before the session, we provide a working file pack with sample documents and pre-written prompts. Everything is ready so your team can focus on learning from the first minute.
The sample files are built around real business scenarios, so every exercise feels relevant to your actual work. Practicality is the thread that runs through the whole programme.

Why Hypergen for Copilot Training
Many organisations find that generic training produces limited adoption. The content can feel theoretical or disconnected from how people actually work. We take a different approach. To understand why organisations choose Hypergen, it helps to know that we build AI agents for businesses every day.
That practical experience shapes how we teach. Our curriculum is independently developed and draws on what we see working in real organisations, giving you a perspective focused on business impact.
The result is training that feels practical and relevant, helping your people see how AI can make them more effective and giving them the confidence to act on it.
What Our Clients Are Saying

Following the training, we deployed six custom agents into their Microsoft environment, delivering value from day one.
Prerequisites
Before the session, every participant will have:
- A laptop they bring with them, with Microsoft 365 and Copilot signed in.
- An active paid Microsoft 365 Copilot licence. If you are unsure about your current licensing, we are happy to help you check before booking.
- Optional: your own working files. Bring real documents to apply the techniques to your own data, or use the sample file pack we provide. Both options work well.
Going deeper: the Copilot Cowork course
Copilot Cowork is Microsoft's new agentic AI, and it is different in kind from the prebuilt Word, Excel and PowerPoint agents. Module 5 of this Copilot training is a hands-on introduction to Cowork. For teams that want to go further, our Copilot Cowork training is a separate half-day course that covers documents and spreadsheets in Cowork, advanced prompting and reusability, custom skills, Work IQ for grounding in your Microsoft 365 content, scheduled Cowork runs, and combining Cowork with the Word, Excel and PowerPoint agents. It runs the same afternoon as this training in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide, so you can attend both back-to-back.
