We focus every participant on the things that maximise their own productivity: the prebuilt Copilot agents in Word, Excel, Analyst and Researcher, and the practice of building their own custom agents for tasks they do every week.
Participants work directly on their own computers, using business-oriented examples designed so you walk away with skills you can start applying immediately.
Across four hands-on modules, from mastering the fundamentals through to building custom agents and a prompting masterclass that sharpens everything you have learned, this programme is designed to shift how each person approaches their work, with knock-on benefits across the wider team as people share what they build.
For most organisations, the challenge is not getting people to use Copilot, it is helping them think AI-first. That means recognising where Copilot can take work off your plate today, building agents that solve problems you actually face, and sharing those wins with colleagues so what one person figures out keeps paying off.

Why In-Person Training Works
There is excellent online training available, and we encourage people to explore those resources, particularly Microsoft Learn. The challenge is that self-paced modules compete with daily workload, and completion rates reflect that.
This half-day session cuts through. Your team gets direct access to a facilitator who builds AI agents for organisations every day, answering questions in real-time and demonstrating what Copilot can do in a genuine business context. We deliver every session in person because the hands-on format produces materially better learning outcomes than a Teams call. On request, we are happy to record the session so your team can revisit the content later.
Who This Training Is For
This programme is designed for beginners and experienced Copilot users alike. The fundamentals are easy to pick up, and because the training stays practical and business-focused throughout, participants comfortably progress to advanced use cases within the same session.
Many organisations find that prompt engineering, writing better instructions for AI, is a useful starting point but only part of the picture. Our programme goes further, closing with a dedicated prompting masterclass and hands-on practice building your own agent, so your people leave with an AI-first mindset that keeps finding new ways to apply Copilot to their work.

What You'll Cover
Copilot Fundamentals
Working directly on your own computer, you will start with what Microsoft 365 Copilot is, why organisations are adopting it, and how it operates inside Microsoft 365, including the security and governance built in. From there, you move to hands-on practice in Copilot Chat, personalising Copilot to your role, and applying it to everyday tasks such as managing your calendar and finding information fast. You leave this module using Copilot with confidence, whatever your starting point.
Copilot Prebuilt Agents
Working hands-on with your own computer, you will use the prebuilt agents Microsoft has built into Copilot:
- The Word agent to draft, edit and reshape documents directly inside Word.
- The Excel agent to build and analyse spreadsheets without writing formulas yourself.
- The Researcher and Analyst agents to investigate topics and surface insights across your data.
Every exercise uses real business scenarios, so what you practise here is what you use back at your desk.
Building Your Own Agents
Continuing the hands-on format, every attendee builds their own custom Copilot agent during the session and learns how to make agents that suit their own work. You will learn the process end to end, then how to share what you build with colleagues who do similar work, so the time you save compounds across the team.
Prompting Masterclass
We close with a masterclass in advanced prompting. The gap between an average result and a useful one usually comes down to the quality of the prompt. You will work through practical frameworks for getting better results from Copilot and leave with techniques your team can put to use immediately.
How We Set You Up for Success
Before the session, we provide a working file pack with sample documents and pre-written prompts participants can copy and use straight away. Everything is ready so your team can focus on learning from the first minute.
The sample files are built around real business scenarios, so every exercise feels relevant to your actual work. You keep the file pack and prompts after the session, so they double as templates for your own work going forward.
How we deliver this training
We run this as a private corporate workshop for your team. You can host it on-site at your own office, or we can arrange a training venue for you. Dates are set by arrangement to suit your team. We are happy to tailor the content to your industry on request, though most clients find our existing material meets their needs with minimal customisation.
On-site with your team
We come to you and run the workshop in your own meeting space, using business-oriented examples your team will recognise.
A venue we arrange
Prefer to get your team offsite? We arrange a training venue in your city and run the same hands-on workshop there.
What participants say
"Really good session. I thought I was actually using Copilot quite well before the session and genuinely had been getting some valuable outputs. The session showed me how much broader Copilot actually is and the tweaking that can be applied to get a better output. During the session I was already planning how I could apply it to my work. A really valuable course."
Peter
"Wonderful. I had no idea what I could do with AI so I didn't do much at all. I now feel like there isn't much I can't do!"
Matthew
"Great feedback. I felt that it went through things at a good pace, simple enough, and I know how to use it best going forward."
Tiffany
"Great session, was highly engaging with practical applications at each section, also good insights to AI development and fit for purpose training."

Why Hypergen for Copilot Training
Many organisations find that generic training produces limited adoption. The content can feel theoretical or disconnected from how people actually work. We take a different approach. To understand why organisations choose Hypergen, it helps to know that we build AI agents for businesses every day. The same depth shapes how we hire and skill our own people, through a Copilot consultant learning path we keep current.
That practical experience shapes how we teach. Every session is delivered by a Hypergen AI consultant who works on live client projects, not a full-time trainer, so the room benefits from current, real-world experience rather than a fixed script. Our curriculum is independently developed and draws on what we see working in real organisations, giving you a perspective focused on business impact.
The result is training that feels practical and relevant, helping your people see how AI can make them more effective and giving them the confidence to act on it.
What Our Clients Are Saying
160 Senior Managers Trained
We are actively supporting a large financial services company in Sydney, delivering Copilot and agent training to 160 senior managers. The programme is helping them get significantly better use from their existing Microsoft 365 investment.

Cross-Functional Team Uplift
We helped a construction company's senior team across projects, sales, marketing, finance, and operations understand how to leverage Copilot in their daily work.
The team was delighted with the experience and has already referred us to other organisations.
Prerequisites
Before the session, every participant will have:
- A laptop they bring with them, with Microsoft 365 and Copilot signed in.
- An active paid Microsoft 365 Copilot licence. If you are unsure about your current licensing, we are happy to help you check before booking.
- Optional: your own working files. Bring real documents to apply the techniques to your own data, or use the sample file pack we provide. Both options work well.
Going deeper: the Copilot Cowork course
Copilot Cowork is Microsoft's new agentic AI, and it works differently from the prebuilt Word, Excel and PowerPoint agents covered in this course. For teams that want to go further, our Copilot Cowork training is a separate half-day course that covers documents and spreadsheets in Cowork, advanced prompting and reusability, custom skills, Work IQ for grounding in your Microsoft 365 content, scheduled Cowork runs, and combining Cowork with the Word, Excel and PowerPoint agents. It runs the same afternoon as this training in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide, so you can attend both back-to-back.
